Quinte Search & Rescue Attends Bellevilles Santa Clause Parade

Bellevilles 10th annual Santa Clause Parade and QSARs second

Quinte Search and Rescue joined Santa as he rolled through Belleville as thousands came out to line the sidewalks. Friday November 14, 2008 was Bellevilles tenth annual night time Santa Clause Parade and Quinte Rescues second.

The light rain did not dampen the spirit of this great annual tradition. Mild temperatures allowed thousands of parade goers to line the route and witness the magic of thousands of lights, and great holiday tunes.

The floats assemble on the grounds of Quinte Secondary School and the parade began at 17:00hrs sharp. Peter Windfelds QSAR 3 was decorated for Christmas and drawn by Ray LaRues amazing rescue truck. Volunteers from Quinte Search and Rescue walked along side handing out candies to the children lining the route.

It was incredible to watch the crowds faces light up when they saw Rays truck rolling down the street.
